SCHOLARSHIP SEARCH TOOL
In an effort to help students afford their higher education, LendEDU recently updated their guide to college scholarships to help students find relevant opportunities specifically for them.
Within this update, they have added a new search tool where students can filter scholarship opportunities based on their grade level, GPA, the scholarship amount, and the requirements of the scholarship.

In 2018, the CTCL Scholarship ($1,000 per year, renewable for up to four years with a maximum award of $4,000 per student) will be awarded to new first-year students, including international students and undocumented students, who choose to attend a CTCL-member college or university. The application process includes two components:
The online application must be completed and submitted by March 23, 2018 (Midnight, Eastern Standard Time).
Copies of admission letter(s) from at least one CTCL-member school must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org by April 7, 2018 (Midnight, Eastern Standard Time).
WILT CHAMBERLAIN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
DEADLINE: THURSDAY, MARCH 29, 2018
There’s still time to apply for the Wilt Chamberlain Memorial Fund Scholarship! The foundation will award a minimum of 8 scholarships to area high school seniors planning on enrolling in a 4-year university, 2-year community college or vocational school this coming fall 2018. The deadline to apply is March 29. All applications must be completed by this date to qualify.
This competitive scholarship includes:
Up to $5,000 per year to attend a four-year accredited undergraduate school; up to $2,500 per year to attend an accredited community college or vocational school.
Mentoring support during and after the transition to post-high school schooling.
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Plan to graduate from a Metropolitan Philadelphia area high school at the end of the 2017-2018 academic year.
Intend to enroll in an accredited post-secondary institution beginning in fall 2018.
Earn a cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.5 or above.
Demonstrate significant unmet financial need.
SMALL BUSINESS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
DEADLINE: SATURDAY, MARCH 31, 2018
Applicant must be a young entrepreneur with small business experience who is enrolling as a full-time student at an institution of higher learning. Essay on the following topic is required: “How has small business ownership (personal, parent, grandparent, or legal guardian) shaped you into the person you are today?”
